Miscellaneous Ideas and Theories
This area of the Quantum website might best be summed up as "fringe" topics. That is to say, items which are curiosities, oddball facts, out of place archaeology and the like. Not quite UFO's and Loch Ness Monster... but getting there. Another use for this strange door of the Quantum History website, is for presenting what if scenarious, strange ideas and possibilities which may or may not be strongly supported by fact.

So... take a brave step, if you wish, into the world of the unexplained, the unconsidered, and perhaps, on occasion the totally unforgiveable. A sense of adventure, exploration, and humor might be considered valuable here.

But looked at another way, Evolution is considered by many intelligent people to be pure fantasy, yet is presented as fact. At least at the Quantum History site, we are willing to admit when we are stepping away from solid ground...

Spectrum Theory

• Overview
  I have been developing a theory, based upon practical observation of the world around, that I believe does a good job of explaining the world as it is. I arrive at this conclusion both through a central belief in a creator God, as well as through my experiences in the arts. As both a musician and a graphic artist, I have long marvelled at the vast spectrum that is available to select from when creating artwork. This seems to be a repeated theme throughout all of creation. When I see the vast diversity of life that inhabit the earth today, in addition to the vast diversity that has been lost throughtout time to extinction, I marvel. Yet, evolutionists point to the common elements that seem to blend so many creatures together and say this is evidence of common descent. But Spectrum Theory is based upon the idea that God, when creating the plants and animals, created an entire SPECTRUM of life, leaving, what might appear at a superficial level, a progression from one animal to the next, when in reality, they were truly unique creatures. The pattern of God's creation seems to be thus: He did not give us a single color, or even 10 or 100 colors. He gave us a fluid spectrum of color, which is capable of blending progressively, thereby giving mankind a complete 'color-wheel' for the purposes of maximum beauty.

  And truly, in the animal kingdom, on a strictly visual level we see creatures of all kinds, and we could manage to line them up in what might look like an 'evolutionary' order. But is this proof of common descent? Or was it the divine order of the creator that we might experience the full spectrum of life, in a perfectly created world. (before the fall of man, and sin's corruption). This is the essence of Spectrum Theory.

  • Color Spectrum
    As cited in the above overview, the complete range of color is an example of a 'complete spectrum'
  • Sound and Light Waves
    Sound and lightwaves are actually interconnected by varying the speed of oscillation. This actually gives us the full spectrum of light sound and color.
  • Temperature
    Rather than create a few temperatures, which are arrived at incrementally, only the property "heat" exists. (for example, you cannot add cold to a room, except by means of removing heat) Therefore, by incrementally adding heat, infinite degrees of "less cold" to "hot" are achieved. This is a spectrum pattern.
  • Brightness
    The same is true for light. There is no 'property of darkness' otherwise you could add darkness to a room. All you can do is add light. Again, this can be done in infinate degrees of light, providing a complete spectrum, between completely light and completely dark.
  • Diversity of Life
    Might it not be, that when God set about to create the animals, that he might have created "kinds" along the lines of say, basic colors (red, blue, green, etc.) and allowed for speciation, that is to say variation within a set "kind", which we observe today, responsible for the vast numbers of species within kinds of animals. To use the color analogy, this would be the same as providing all of the in-between colors in the spectrum (teal, burgundy, sienna, etc.)
